Hi,

I am working on the following circuit below,

wherein i need to switch between the various supply voltages and output given to one single switch.

Is there any Power switch like Smart High Side switches with more than 4channels with each channel capable of 500mA available?

I am using Functional Safety MCU RM48L952 in my design for controlling purposes.

Please let me know the various option available in TI.

Hi Reshma,

Yes a high side switch is a good fit in this case between the supply and the load. We do have TPS274160, TPS4H000-Q1 and TPS4H160-Q1. They have different qualifications (industrial vs. auto) and different Rdson. You can check the datasheet of each and see if the Rdson and other protection feature can fit your application needs.

All of them are capable of doing more than 500mA per channel.

Thanks for the quick response.

The High side drivers suggested by you are having single supply voltage which is coming as 4 output lines.

I need 4-5 different input supply voltages which are to switched and given as one output.

My input voltages are 35V,27V,24V,5V,0V.

Any one of these voltages need to come out as output and drive further circuitry.

There are not a single solution we could provide in high side switches. In this case, 4 switches have to be used. Please let me know if you have additional comments.
