I need to create a -2.5V (Iout <= 0.1A) voltage using a battery voltage (3-4.3V). My design already uses a TPS62808 for another voltage. I am very space constrained and concerned about battery life so I am interested in using a small switching supply for this. The TPS62808 would seem like a reasonable choice assuming it can be used to generate negative voltage (i.e. connecting Vout to gnd and then normal gnd connection would be -Vout). Can the TPS62808 be used this way? Is there an example circuit of it being used this way?
If device can not do this, is there another very small step down buck that can do this?
