Hi team,

I have a question related to cell temperature for BQ40Z50-R3.

For a 3S application. It will have a threshold to show different cell temperature. For example if the temperature > 15 degrees it will show the highest temperature among cell1-3. And if cell < 15 degrees it will show the lowest temperature among cell1-3.

I think cell temperature is a fixed value which represents the temperature of all cells, is that correct？

My question is how do we define this threshold and can we change this threshold in our register?

    Hello Steven,

    Cell temperature can be read individually using DAStatus2() command.

    The use of cell temperature by the gauge is determined by the settings in data memory. It mainly applies to protections. It can use average , min or max
