Which simple switcher are pin + package compatible with the LMR14020 and functionally (nearly) compatible? (Not the LMR14030, other families...)

For the new application we have to show alternative simple switcher (pin + package + nearly functional compatible) for the LMR14020 to our customer.

Hi,

If i understand correctly, you have already identified LMR14030 and LMR14050 as pin to pin compatible part.

Another pin to pin compatible part would be LMR16020 and LMR16030 but they are a 60V part vs 40V part.

One feature ist very important, the soft start time by power up.

We need a soft start time with max 1500 µs. It can be fix or adjustable - but max 1500 µs, better 1000 µs.

The LM14020 has an "External Soft-start", adjustable by a capacitor.

Important information to our requirement.

A delay between the input voltage and the output voltage is okay and uncritical.

Important is the "output ramp up time" - max 1500 µs are allowed from 0 V to 3,3 V at the output.

Hi Michi,

I apologize but i dont understand the question. Are you looking for a pin to pin compatible part with LMR14020 with adjustable soft-start time or are you looking for a part that have a soft-start at 1000us?

How about LMR16030 which have the PGOOD and soft-start version

The LMR16030 with soft start option looks good, seems to be a replacement for the LMR14020.

Are there any other possible switcher parts for the LMR14020?

We should have at least two other possible replacement families.
