Hello,
there is a LED driver that allows to dimmer LED chopping input supply voltage?
Input will be a 100-200Hz pwm 48V supply line.
In my case LED will be 3V, so I need a step down LED driver.
Thank you

Hello,
How about the output current? BTW, what's the application since the input supply is so strange.

Hello Robin,
In first project LED should be 3W or little more, LED current will be around 1A. If it is possible we want implement this schematic in 6W (or more).
This input supply is strange but is a request to dimmer with 2 wires, using constant voltage drivers with pwm output (for example meanwell-pwm series that works at 1.47kHz or others slower drivers that are working at 100Hz).
In some installations customes ask us 2-wires pwm dimmig.
Thank you for your support
Hello,
For 3W or more power requirement, there is a new device in development. It also meets the PWM power supply. But it may get samples at the of this year. It's cheaper and has higher performance than existing devices.
If you can't wait, then TPS92512HV can be a proper candidate.
Robin
Hello Robin,
thank you for your reply, do you think I can use TPS92512HV datasheet schematic?
I have to change Cin value and increase UVLO value?
Could you give me preliminary datasheet of new device?
Hello,
Yes, you can refer TPS92512HV datasheet schematic. As for the new device, it's confidential and I can't provide its datasheet now. Thanks for understanding.
