Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS2373, UCC2891, UCC2893
Dear team
Because of shortage of material.
Could you help to suggest suitable solution to replace the ucc2897a?
Many thanks
Denny

Dear team
The customer use TPS2373 with ucc2897a.
The output power is 12V/6A(72W).
Many thanks
Denny
Hi Denny,
The UCC2897A has the following summary and 20-pin TSSOP pinout
The UCC289x family has the following summary and 16-pin TSSOP pinout
I would recommend either the UCC2891 (P-channel clamp) or UCC2893 (N-channel clamp) because they both offer the 110V start-up circuit, similar to the UCC2897A. They can even interchange the UCC2891/UCC2893 by simply inverting the OUT signal on the PCB. The UCC2891/3 offer a couple less functions than the UCC2897A (like LINEOV and separate PVDD pin).
UCC2891 in SOIC shows 960 in stock at TI, and I see UCC2893 at some secondary suppliers.
Regards,
Eric
