BQ28Z610-R1: BQ28z610-R1 not charging the battery ..?

Hello TI,

I am using BQ28Z610-R1 for battery fuel gauge and AP9211SA for cell protection.

On BQ studio Battery discharging shows properly but when i connecting charger battery not going start charging but there is provided pack voltage is showing across pack side,

Please check the Schematic of design board, let us know if there is any changes required to resolve the issue in schematic

Hello Rahul,

Does the charger provide a voltage that is higher than the charger present threshold?

Hello Shirish,

I am using External regulated DC power source (Image of the power source attached), which support voltage 0-32V and current 2A.
AP9211SA is possible to block the charging of the battery ..?

Hey Shirish,

charger present threshold is 5000mV, I think it's because of AP9211

What is the role of CHG_FET_Toggle, DCHG_FET_Toggle and FET_ EN..?, because when i press this key from UI there is nothing to happen on board, i suppose it will disable/ enable the charging or discharging.

Hello Rahul,

I would recommend that you read the TRM because FET actions depend on many settings.

Start with Settings Configuration->FET Options

The toggle commands should work when FET_EN=0
