Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65263
Hi Team,
Do we have a design calculator tool for this device? Alternatively, do we have a general compensation optimizer for transconductance buck controllers?
Thank you,
Delaney

Hi Dalaney,
Thanks for coming to us with your queries. Currently we do not support a design calculator for this device. I think the existing Pspice simulation model can help with your design. Please use PSpice which is available in the product folder as well. Thanks for your understanding.

Hi Lucia,
Thank you for the documents - I still have a couple unknowns.
I'd like to create a bode plot of a given design. Is it possible to provide me with a closed loop transfer function for a typical TPS65261 design?
Thank you,
Delaney
Hi Delaney,
1. The loop compensation of TPS65261 and TPS65263 are similar.
You can kindly use TPS65263 Webench to check its stability. I think its a good simulation tool for you. When you click export button, it will give you information about efficiency, loop response, duty cycle, etc..

2. If you want theoretical analysis about loop transfer function, you can kindly refer to this application note. It includes introduction about accurate PCM modeling and transfer function. Since TPS65261 is also peak current control mode, you can directly refer to this document. Hope it will be useful to you.
Let me know if there is any more concern. Thanks!
