Battery management System for 48V lead acid battery

I require a battery management system for 48V lead acid (100 A max. ), which is to be used in E-bikes,golf cars & other EV apps. I have to give CAN bus interface  with these battery's, for this purpose I am using Stellaris LM3s8962 & worked on it with direct correspondent of SERIAL MICROELECTRONICS PTE LTD & TI(INDIA). I have urgent requirement for this, please suggest me some BMS unit for lead acid-48V apps.

  • Our target it typically for 6 cell or 13.8V charging using the bq2031 charger, which works best in the pulsed current mode.

    since this is a controller, one could replace the power stage with higher voltage rated components and charge at a higher voltage.  We do not have any EVMs or specific applications for these higher cell counts.  Good Luck.

  • i need gas gauge ic which can keep track of capacity,voltage, current etc. How to reprogram your MCu circuits. Please elaborate or provide some technical details. It should work for lead acid batteries.
