BQ2026: Simple config to read data from EEPROM

I need an advise of simple hardware and software ready to install.

what i need is a small system to read data from BQ2026DBZR.

purpose to ensure it no accident damage, connection/wiring are correct (no reversed)

Can someone help to identify system configuration and relate software to operate this task?

I don't want to write any data to BQ2026DBZR just read only.

What i learned from Forums, EV2300 is discontinue and EV2400 is not compatible with BQ2026. no way out for now.

Hello Narintara,

If you just would like to read from BQ2026, then you can use EV2400.

EV2400 doesn't allow to program (write) to the device.

To support EV2300 on Win10, you will need to use the 64bit USB driver. Please find the link below.

I connected BQ2026EVM to EV2400 thru PORT3(HDQ)

You need to

1) update EV2400 firmware to v0.32

2) install EV2400_Support_Components.exe

3) install bq2026EVM Eval Program

When you open Eval Program please ensure you see pop up error message "ensure connection and driver installed".

NOTES. Tip for you, please verify your chip bq2026DBZR proper install in Q socket. (I found this error cause of poor installed in Q socket).
