Vienna rectifier

The input line current supply is 163 Ampere as calculated, 400 VAC, output voltage 700V.

I am finding difficulty in selecting the MOSFET for the Vienna rectifier with drain current greater than 163 Amperes. Can anyone suggest an economical, budget friendly SiC MOSFET for the rectifier.

Hi Payal,

Since TI is not making these high-voltage devices, I can't recommend one supplier over another. A Google search will reveal who the major players are with regards to SiC discretes and modules. You may also consider parallel super junction MOSFETs/modules with appropriate gate drive but again, TI is not manufacturing or in a position to recommend a vendor for these devices.
