TPS65400: SS1/PG1 pin

Hi team

Customer wants to use SS1/PG1 pin as Power Good. And they have questions as below.

1. Are there any ways to use SS1/PG1 pin as Power Good at default?

2. I guess, it is impossible to use the pin as Power Good at default. As the alternative way, can they use EEPROM inside the device in order to set the pin as Power Good as defalt every time the device is powered on?

3. What is the requirement when they reconfigure the pin through I2C? For exmple, if VIN is more than 4.5V, can the I2C communcation be established?

1. I think your first and second is one question. ss1/pg1 is default as SS function.

There are some ways to set TPS65400 before the first power up.

3. I2C communcation be established when Vin exceed 4.5V.

Then please let me make sure my understanding. In order to set ss1/pg1 as PG, below is OK?

PIN_CONFIG_01 can be save on EEPROM. So if PIN_CONFIG_01 is set as PG and the setting is saved on EEPROM, the setting be reloaded automatically after the power on.
