Please provide the long version on how this register is supposed to work and what it is supposed to protect against?
For example:
I programmed this:
"Protections","CTO","Charge Threshold","4000","mA"
"Protections","CTO","Suspend Threshold","3500","mA"
"Protections","CTO","Delay","14400","s"
"Protections","CTO","Reset","2","mAh"
Thinking it would stop fast charging if fast charging took more time than 14400 seconds and that the timer would stop after it dropped below 3500mA... from the test I just ran it looks like the BMS opened the charge FET during the cv portion of the charge when the charge current fell below 3500mA...
My system does regular/fast charge at either 4A or 6.8A... after it hits CV it tapers down to 200mA...
Please confirm how I should set these up.
