TPS2H160-Q1: How much frequency could we change "CS ACTIVATED CHANNEL" for both channel current sensing constantly?

Hi team, 

How much frequency could we change "CS ACTIVATED CHANNEL" for both channel current sensing constantly?
We need each channel current sense but 1ohmtyp is enough capability. Or do I have to use 2-times TPS1H100-Q1 instead of TPS2H000-Q1 for constant current sensing each channel?

    Hi Ochi-san,

    Are you asking for TPS2H160-Q1? There are multiple parts mentioned here and I'm not exactly sure if this is the part you are using. For TPS2H160, you have 50us delay for CS pin to change from channel to channel, meaning that the max frequency will be 20kHz for SEL, and each channel will get max speed of sample of 100us. However, I would recommend to switch a bit slower to not reach the limit.

    Thank you, Considering tSEL (50usmax) and each channel current sense sampling time (100usmax), how much frequency do you recommend to switch current sense channel to monitor each channel's analog current? In addition, could TPS2H160-Q1's specific channel, which is not selected as current monitor by SEL pin, detect overcurrent event?

    Hi Ochi-san,

    I would say 200us for the period to be on the safe side (100us for each channel), which is 5kHz. Also all the protection will be functioning even it's not selected.
