LP8860-Q1: Using nFET for Power-Line Control

Dear TI team,

are there any suggest component values (red boxes) for the circutry needed to us a nFET for power-line control on LP8860?

Are there any impact on input voltage functional range or any other important impacts by using this solution?

    Hi, Luca, 

    LP8860 is not recommended for new design. For new design, pls use new generation LP8864/LP8866. 

    CIN: generally, 2 × 10-μF ceramic and 33 μF electrolytic, See 9.2.1.2.3 Input Capacitor Selection for details; 

    Charge pump capacitor: 1-4.7uF is ok; 

    SD capacitor: 1-4.7uF is ok, 

    SD resistor: 1k-10k is ok.
