TPS61099: tps

Part Number: TPS61099

we buy the part#TPS7A8400ARGRR with date code year21 week05 ( 2105) & MSL LEVEL 2. But the MSL level is level1 showed in date sheet published in Sept 2021, and the it showed level 2 in data sheet published in Feb 2017, so could you help advise us have the MSL level has been changed ? Any document could be proved

  • Hello,

Yes, the MSL level was changed to level 1 because the lead frame assembly was changed to improve joint quality and reduce moisture leakage into the package. What I'm not sure of is if the change was made across all A/T sites because it looks like the change may only apply to units sourced from CDAT. I am attempting to contact the person that filed the change. I'll update you when I hear back.

    Thanks,

    Nick

  • Hello,

I've confirmed that TPS7A8400ARGRR (as well as TPS7A8400ARGRT and TPS7A8401ARGRR) is single sourced from CDAT and is MSL 1.

    Regards,

    Nick
