Hello team,
Do you know the propagation delay from EN signal to the start timing of the Power MOSFET turn on/off?

Hello team,
Do you know the propagation delay from EN signal to the start timing of the Power MOSFET turn on/off?

Hey Hirata,
I will go down to the lab and get back to you with this value.
Thanks,
-Jimmy
Hey Hirata,
Using the TPS7B6350EVM to test, I sent a 3V signal to the EN pin and the delay to turn on is 1.055ms

Vin (10V) is the yellow, Vout (5V) is the pink, and EN (3V) is blue.
I hope this helps!
Thanks,
-Jimmy
Hello Jimmy-san,
Thanks for your prompt answer!!
I am sorry, but could you also take the power down case...? (= EN signal from High to Low, and VOUT from 5V to 0V)
I appreciate your support.
Regards,
Hirata
Hey Hirata-san,
This is the power down case: 422.61ms delay

I hope this helps!
Thanks,
-Jimmy
Hello Jimmy-san,
Thanks for taking the data.
Sorry for again and again...
Could you check the zoomed up the yellow highlighted portion?
Customer would like to know below propagation delay.
1. from rising edge of EN to the timing when VOUT start to go high...(You have already taken the waveform)
2. from falling edge of EN to the timing when VOUT start to go low...(I want this.)

sorry for not to describe details in advance...
And one more question.
Do you use EVM as it is? No change from default setting, correct?
I appreciate your support.
Regards,
Hirata
Hey Hirata-san,
This is the EVM setup:

This is the waveform. The output voltage falls slowly so the trigger is at 90% of 5V which is 4.5V. The delay is 6.8533ms

I hope this helps!
Thanks,
-Jimmy
