For p2p parts the LM2937 (LM2937ESX-12/NOPB) and the LM340 (LM340SX-12/NOPB) are great alternatives. If you are looking for improved performance, we recommend moving to the TPS7B86-Q1 (TPS7B8601QDDARQ1) for improved PSRR and thermals per size.
