TPS53317A: Frequency tolerance checking

Hi All,

May I know what is the frequency tolerance under 1.2V input, 0.6V output, 2.7A Iout, and 600kHz setting?

It hard to judge based on the below figure from the datasheet.

The customer request +/-10% means 540KHz~660kHz but the testing result is 670kHz.

May I know whether it is acceptable?

Below is an image from the datasheet that shows what the switching frequency looks like over various loads for Vin = 1.2V, and the 600kHz setting:

At 2.7A Iout, the switching frequency is estimated to be close to 700kHz.

So there is no certain range of frequency?

Because the figure in the datasheet is based on the same Lo & Co, am I right?

The figure in the datasheet is based on the Lo and Co shown in the Typical Applications section (which is the same as the TPS53317AEVM).

For this device, as the load current increases, the switching frequency does also increase, just less dramatically than in other devices without adaptive on-time.
