LP5009: Supply Missing but Pins Connected

Hello,

I would like to ask, what could happen for LP5009, if the 3.3V supply is missing, LEDs are connected with the OUT_xy pins and they are supplied by 5V? (RGB-Drive is inactive). Could it be damaged?

Hi Ziming,

The output pins are all off if there is no power supply on VCC. The max rating of output pins is 6V and it can be safe even connect 5V to them directly.
