BQ24103A: Charging issue

Hi team,

Here's an issue may need your help:

Currently charges 2 4.2V 18650 batteries.

Issue: some of the charging is extremely slow, stops after charging, and the battery stays around 1.5 V. Is there anything wrong with the circuit? The circuit is shown below:

RT1 is unsoldered, C39 is soldered with 0 ohm resistor, and the charging voltage is 12 V. Plug in the power supply and the output is pulled low to around 3.5 V.

Could you help check this case? Thanks.

Hi Cherry,

What is status of STAT pins? When battery is low voltage (<2V), the charger should charge with ISHORT.

The adapter indicator is on, and other indicators are off。

In addition, can pre-charging be set? The lowest voltage of the two 18650 batteries is about 3V. The charging chip not only charges the batteries, but also supplies power to the LDO chip with 0.8 watts. The precharge output current may have been exceeded

Hi,

I was looking for description of the STAT pins themselves, as they will indicate if a fault condition is present, I am referring to table 2 in the datasheet.
