BQ24600: Is BQ24618 suitable to charge LiFePO4 battery chemistry

Hello,

I have a customer who is looking into using BQ24600RVAT to charge LiFePO4 battery chemistry. I have checked the datasheet and they only mention about Li-Ion/Li-Polymer battery cell, is it recommended to use BQ24600RVAT for other battery cell?

    Dear Ernest,

    Depending on the customers' needs, I would suggest using the BQ24620 or the BQ24630 as they are specifically for Lithium Phospate and LiFePO4 chemistries.
