TPS92692-Q1: TPS92692-Q1

Part Number: TPS92692-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS92692

Hi, to whom it my concern.....

I intend to use TPS92692 for a Buck-Boost LED driver as suggested in the datasheet:

The application is a headlight for +12V and +24 vehicles. So the pecs ask for 9-36V for Vin (full range), I LED = 1A

The low bean will require 4 LEDs, totalizing 4 x 3,0 V typical totalyzing : 12V

But the high bean can be switched as well and the total number os LEDs in series will be : 8 LEDs, VLED=24V when high beab and low bean ON.

Looking when Vin=9V and VLED = 24V, LED+ will be equal to = 33V .     The ratio between LED+/Vin = 3,6 , is it ok?

When Vin = 36V and VLED = 24V , LED+ will be equal to = 60V , the ratio LED+ / Vin = 1,6

Will this topology met the specs with no instability?

Thank you

Ricardo
