There is a battery charger selection tool here: http://focus.ti.com/paramsearch/docs/parametricsearch.tsp?family=analog&familyId=411&uiTemplateId=NODE_STRY_PGE_T
Entering a 3-cell Li-pol battery gives this page, which shows the available chargers: http://focus.ti.com/en/download/aap/selectiontools/battery-chargers/charts-htmls/bq24xxx-3cell.html
Due to the widely varying pack voltage for a 3 cell pack (from about 9V to 12.6V fully charged) and your likely high charge current (1C=3.5A), linear chargers are not the best choice for you. So, the selection tool displays all switching power supplies.
