Thanks for reaching out here. For this EV charger design, do you know if they require AEC-Q100 qualified components here or are they ok with industrial grade (if it's an EV charger external to the vehicle I would assume Industrial grade is ok, but would be good to confirm). What's the input voltage range/source? Can you also confirm are they looking for a digital based controller solution here or are they preferring analog control?
From the HVC team, at this power level typically something like our UCC28070 (interleaved continuous conduction mode PFC) and our UCC28951 (phase-shifted full bridge controller) would be used for the primary power stage. Both devices have industrial and automotive qualified versions available. We don't have an exact reference design for this application with this device, but you could review PMP8740 or TIDA-020031 as an idea of the performance we can meet with these devices.
If they prefer something with digital control, then you will need to work with the C2000 team on option\s available. Let me know if any further questions or concerns.
