Thanks for the file. Unfortunately, it would not auto-detect the BQ25792, and after manually loading the file, bqStudio was unable to read from the BQ25792 (either from the main screen, or from the advanced comm screen). 

I plugged my TotalPhase Beagle onto this header and could see communication from the TPS25750 to the BQ25782 (address looked good, etc.). 

Do you know if I'm supposed to use PORT1 (SMB) or PORT2 (12C) on the EV2400? I tried both, but it would help narrow down attempts.

Ok, I set the beagle to watch the lines...and I had the classic 7-bit vs 8-bit I2C address confusion going on. So, with bqStudio set to an address of 0xD6 (0x6B << 1) within the advanced comms page, it works fine:

But I get "Invalid Address" whenever I try anything in the other tab:

I forgot a very relevant point: when it gives me the "Invalid Target address", it isn't actually doing any I2C communication (I don't see any transactions or corrupted attempts with the Beagle).

Have you tried reinstalling the BQStudio? I have used BQStudio to communicate with this part on many occasions.

Hi Mike,

I believe I did reinstall it at some point recently for some reason or another? I guess I'll keep this in mind, but am going to give up for now on this - I had some success in getting better results via the TPS configuration tool with some tweaked settings.
