BQ76952: CRC issue

Hi team,

Here's 2 questions from the customer may need your help；

Q1: BQ76952 does not have CRC by default, can it be set with CRC with some kind of setting? If so, how?

Q2: BQ7695202 has CRC by default, can it be set without CRC with some kind of setting? If so, how?

Could you help resolve this case? Thanks.

    Hello Cherry,

    Yes, this can be adjusted in the settings in Settings:Configuration:Comm Type. See Chapter 9 Serial Communications Interfaces of the TRM. If you want to change it's default setting at power-up, this would have to be programmed in OTP. 

    Keep in mind, if you change to CRC, the CRC has to be continuously be sent afterwards. If changing from CRC, you would first have to send the commands with CRC.
