Error codes in batterystatus register of bq20z95

Hi,

We have connected the BQ20z95EVM-001 to our host system which has msp430f2232 as microcontroller. We were able to communicate and receive all the information from the EVM. But when we try to receive Battery Status. Error codes are raised. what could be the problem. When I checked in Technical reference document of the bq20z95(SLUU264A). The error codes correspond to "bq20z90/bq20z95 detected an unidentifiable error ". What does this mean.

What could be the problem? But all the information from EVM is accurate and correct.

What this error means?

    It is simply an indicator that something unexpected happened with the micro inside the gauge. It could simply be a processor misexecution caused by ESD, an  incorrect command code or some other cause. Generally, a reset will correct the situation. If it doesn't, then there could something physically wrong with the part.
