Hello,
the current datasheet of the TPS3430 window watchdog IC is providing the worst case tolerances for the lower and higher boundary of the window watchdog. The datasheet specifies the tolerances of those boundaries at 1.6V<=VDD<=6.5V and over temperature range -40°C<=Taj<=+125°C for the setup CWD=10k to VDD, SET0=1 and SET1=1:
- tWDL = 1.48ms - 2.22ms
- tWDU = 9.35ms - 12.65ms
In our application we got a stable power supply of 3.3V +-5% for the TPS3430.
Do you got any data on the tolerances with that power supply range and the temperature range of -40°C<=Taj<=+125°C or can you verify it via tests? Are the tolerances getting better with a stable power supply?
We would need those information in order to use your TPS3430 window watchdog since the specified tolerances in the datasheet are not sufficient for our target application (SIL2 application).
Thanks and kind regards
Sven Klaiber
