Dear DRV team,

Hello Juan,
As it says in the datasheet this device is rated from -40C to 85C. If you're looking for the ABS junction temp it is on the same page:

Hello Kalin,
What about the Operating Temperature Range two lines before?:

Thanks and best regards,
Juan.
Hello Juan,
Operating temperature range is the ambient temperature range at which you may operate the device with the parameters in the datasheet still guaranteed. The junction temperature refers to the actual die temperature.

Hi Kalin,
This translate into the DR103 being able to operate at ambient temperature donw to -55C, right?
Thansk and best regards,
Juan.
Hello Juan,
The ABS minimum temperature should be fine to operate normally at as long as you're sure its at or above -55C since minimum temperature ABS ratings are functionality tests and not stress tests. Once it goes below -55C the functionality of the device may not operate as expected. I would not recommend normal operation above 85C.

Hello Kalin,
What is then the definition of "Specified temperatura range”: -40ºC?
Thanks a lot for your support.
Best regards,
Juan.
Hello Juan,
That is the recommended temperature range for normal operation. The tests ran when the device is operating between -40C and -55C shows the device functions properly, but below -55C the device may not function (doesn't break). It's not recommended to operate above the recommended because the tests ran for this were stress tests. The device will be functional up to ABS max but may not meet datasheet specs and if gone above ABS max the device can break. The statement I made in the 2nd post I made was referring to recommended operating range, not ABS max. That was my mistake.
Hopefully this helped clear up the differences between the two ranges. If you have anymore questions please feel free to reopen this post.

Hello Kalin,
Are the functionalities ensured for downto -55C?
Thanks,
Juan
Hello Juan,
I apologize for the delay in response. The functionality down to -55C is ensured.
