TPS23756: 2nd source of PMOS request

Hi,

I have a question about the PMOS spec.

Ineed to add 2nd source to replace original PMOS which is FDMC2523P.

The Vgs of MOS is 30V. Could we decrease to 20V ?

Our circuit refer to the PMP9563 circuit of TPS23754.

I measured the Vc voltage is about 15V with 56V POE and Vgate peak to peak is 16-17V. 

I also checked the TPS23754EVM which is used SI2325DS and the Vgs is 20V.

Our desige is POE to 12V. Please help suggest if the Vgs 20V is safe to use.

    Hello, 

    17V on a 20V abs max is very close together. It does not leave room for much error / component variation. If you are willing to accept that risk you can make that design choice.
