TPS650861: Device Selection

Hi,

We have planned to use TPS65086x device for Xilinx FPGA board power mangement. We have followwing current requirements at different output of TPS65086x :

O/P Power net	Voltage	Current required(A)
BUCK1	3.3	5
BUCK2	0.85	5
BUCK3	1.2	3
BUCK4	0.9	3
BUCK5	1.8	3
BUCK6	1.2	5
LDOA1	2.5	0.2
LDOA2	1.5	0.6
LDOA3	1.2	0.6
SWA1	3.3	1
SWB1	1.8	1
SWB2	1.8	1

With the help of above table could you suggest us that we should select TPS6508640 or TPS650681?

The power sequencing requirement is as follows : BUCK4-> BUCK5->BUCK3->BUCK2->SWB1->SWB2->SWA1->BUCK6->LOAD1, rests at any point.

Hi Jainendra,

Thank You for using E2E! Could you provide more information on the specific Xilinx FPGA that will be used in the application? We have released an Apps note (see link below) to help our customers identify the right orderable part number for different Xilinx SoCs. I think TPS6508640 is the closest to your voltage requirements. If none of the TPS650864x meet the needed power/sequence requirements then the next option would be the TPS65086100 which is the user programmable version that comes with two "blank" OTP memory banks that can be programmed (by the customer or an approved TI distributor like Arrow) to match specific application requirements.
