Hi Team,

We are seeking LiFePO₄battery monitor. Below is the spec. Can you help check if there is solution in TI? If RS232 isn't available, SPI or I2C are also ok. Feel free to let me know if we have reference design. Thank you.

LiFePO₄battery

Management : 15S/8P

Voltage/capacity：48V / 28.4AH

Protocol：RS485

BMS information：battery temp、total voltage、Output current、Input current

Item 2

LiFePO₄battery

Management : 8S/3P

Voltage/capacity：24V / 10.4AH

Protocol：RS485

BMS information：battery temp、total voltage、Output current、Input current

Our target is showing as below.

We found BQ79616-Q1 may match our requirements. Can you let me know if BQ79616-Q1 caan support both of 24V and 48V system? If can not, can you suggest other solution for us?

In addition, for CSU, do you have related APP note or reference design?

Hello Roy,

Yes, the BQ79616 can support both 24V and 48V systems. These devices typically communicate to the MCU through UART. Our BQ7965x family includes the current measurement capability.

Yes, this TIDA looks like it will work as well. My team does not support the BQ769xx products, so if you have further questions about this TIDA, I recommend starting a new E2E thread.
