Closed-loop temperature regulation using UC3638 H bridge motor controller

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UC3638

Dear all :

There is an application note about  UC3638.

I try the schematic, and found that the PMOS is hot when PMOS is switching.

The attached file is the waveform.

Channel 1 is the current flow into TEC

Channel 2 is the Drain voltage of the PMOS

Channel 3 is the Gate voltage of the PMOS

Channel 4 is the voltage node of between inductor L1 and TEC.

The VDS voltage of PMOS is high and the current is high.

So the PMOS is hot when switching.

Is there any solution not to make PMOS so hot ?
