control the charge current of BQ24104 with two resistors and Nmos

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ24104, BQ24170

Hi . i'm working on a multi slots charger and need to have the choice between two fast charge current rate.

to do this i have a dip switch from omron to add a 34K resistor in parallel with another one (8.25K). but this dip switch need at least 10µA @ 3.5v and the voltage at the Iset1 is 1V.

i would like to add a NMOS like 2N7002 between the ground and the 34K resistor. His gate is controled by the dipswitch and pull up resistor. can you tell me if that can cause problems with the BQ24104? i can give you a schematic picture if you want.

for the same problem i need to make the same thing on the TTC pin. The NMOS is placed in parallel with the capacitor (Cttc >> Cds of the mos) and is used to ground the TTC signal.

the Nmos can cause problem on the TTC pin in this configuration?

thanks
