BQ76952: Cell Balancing issue Max number of cells.

Hello 

I am using external autonomous cell balancing. But I am having issue.

I am using resistor divider network and increasing the voltage of one cell by using another DC supply. If I select "Cell Balance Max cells" > 1, then balancing doesn't happen on intended cell. 

But if I set " Cell Balance Max Cells = 1", balancing immediately starts on cell having power supply. 

Please suggest.

    Hi Nitin,

    If you set this parameter value greater than 1, then the device will try to balance all cells that are outside of the Cell Balance Min Delta range. If the other cells are just using a resistor divider, then this will cause on over-voltage alert which will stop balancing. You can try to disable the over-voltage protection or you can increase the Cell Balance Min Delta to see if this resolves your issue.
