BQ25600D: About obtaining BQ25600D and BQ25611D charge status

Hello

When BQ25600D or BQ25611D perform quick charging, can we obtain information that the device has switched from CC charging to CV charging?

According to devices specifiaction, we can know quick charge status with register reading.
But we want to know which charging status CC charging or CV charging.

    Hi Takashi Soda, 

    No, there is not a way to identify when charging is in CC or CV stage via I2C on either the BQ25600D or BQ25611D device.

    Intuitively you could identify when the device is CC charging vs CV charging by measuring the battery voltage or charge current. In CV Vbat = Vreg and charge current will be below the fast charge current setting. Other similar charger devices such as the BQ25896 come with an internal battery monitor and ADC to allow the host to monitor parameters such as battery voltage and current over I2C. With this feature you could identify when the device was in CC or CV.
