BQ27531-G1: SOH parameter returns 100. It doesn't degrade with respect to age of battery.

It looks like the IT enable command was never sent to the gauge. Did you use the GPCCHEM tool and match chemistry?

IT enable command was sent during start of learning cycle while making Golden file. In golden file the IT enable was set properly.

Assuming this comes from the aged battery: Update status is 2 in this file, so it looks like IT is not enabled correctly. I would recommend that you program the golden image and do a normal learning cycle to see if update status changes. This will help understand if the golden image is ok or if the use case settings need to be tweaked. I would do this on a different pack (even new is ok).

Yes, the gg file is from aged battery. At the end of learning cycle (as per SLUA902), update status should change to 2 to mark the successful learning cycle. The IT enable register is 01, which shows it is in enabled condition. 

I did normal learning cycle after program the Golden file and with Update Status set to '0'. After learning cycle the Update Status changes to '02'. I did this on different pack as well.

I would compare the GG.CSV files from the aged battery with the one you took now.

One other note: The SOH value is a simulation at a specified current(-400mA default). It may help to know what it is reporting. Register 0x29 is SOH status. Can you read this from the aged battery?

TRM section 2.21 StateofHealth(): 0x28 and 0x29 has details about what it means.

The FCC reported from  this battery is greater than design capacity. At 800 cycles this is not normal unless design capacity was incorrectly specified. Did you check how many mAH the battery is able to source from full charged state until terminate voltage?
