BQ27531-G1: SOH parameter returns 100. It doesn't degrade with respect to age of battery.

Part Number: BQ27531-G1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ24295, , GPCCHEM

We are using BQ27531-G1 Gauge and BQ24295 Charger IC for Li-Ion (2600 mAh) rechargeable battery.

Facing issues with State Of Health register value. We ran the battery for more than 800 CycleCounts. The State Of Health of battery remain stays at 100. It does not degrade with respect to CycleCount. The SOH value should decrease along with increase in age/ CycleCount of battery.

It's not degrading based on age of the battery. At starting point we were able to discharge the battery with around 1300 mA load. But now it is not able to source 500 mA load. Currently we are running with 200 mA load and battery completes more than 800 cycles. Through out this period the SOH value remains at 100. It's not degrading.

Let us know how SOH parameter behavior with reference to age of battery.

Any settings need to do for SOH to work correctly.
