Hi,
We are using TPS23881 in 2pair mode in our design.
We could power ON PD in semiauto mode and auto mode.
We are using resisters 30h to 3Fh to read current and voltage values of corresponding channels and calculate PD power using current and voltage.
But sometimes we are reading voltage values below 40V and sometimes even in the range of 0-10V. Current values are stable during this time and PD is powered ON.
Since the voltage values are much lesser our power calculations are wrongly calculated .
Could you please let us know why low voltage values are being read.
Regards,
Charan.
Charan,
Did you load the SRAM code into the TPS23881 device? If not, please download the SRAM code from TPS23881 MySecure folder and follow this app note to load the SRAM code through I2C. Thanks.
Best regards,
Penny
Hi Penny,
Could you please provide access to SRAM code. trying to download it from below link but it is throwing some error.
https://www.ti.com/securesoftware/docs/autopagepreview.tsp?opnId=24239
Could you please resolve it.
Regards,
Charan.
Hi penny,
Thanks for providing the access. Voltage issue got resolved after loading latest firmware.
Could you please let us know if there a way we can program latest firmware only once and still retain after power cycle.
Regards,
charan
Hi Charan,
Since the code is loaded to SRAM and SRAM doesn't store code after losing power, you will need to load the SRAM code after power on reset. Thanks.

Penny
