BQ25173 is being reviewed by applying BQ25173 to the remote control being developed by the customer, and the operation is proceeding as follows.
1. When STAT PIN is changed from HIGH → LOW, RED LED lights up → GREEN LED turns on
2. At this time, the charging curve gradually becomes fully charged as it enters the CV section.
3. Finally, the GREEN LED turns on and the hardware is fully charged after a few minutes.
In a scenario, when the STAT PIN is changed from HIGH to LOW, it should be fully charged in hardware, but the STAT PIN does not fall to LOW when fully charged, but changes when moving from CC to CV.
The STAT pin does not move with the current being charged, but changes by comparing the voltage between VFB_REF and VFB.
Q1) In terms of hardware, is it possible to lower the STAT PIN to LOW when it is fully charged (charging current is less than 40mA)?
Q2) Is there a product that satisfies the function of BQ25173 and operates the STAT PIN according to the charging current (are there any other recommended products)?
