TPS24711: current limit blank time

Hi team

customer is evaluating our TPS24711DGSR, they set the current limit threshold at 75A, but the have the short time high current case.

They have below high current occasions after the start up finished

92.99A (last for 200us)

76.59A (last for 1ms)

so my question is: is there any risk to trigger the OC protection for these two cases?

And is there any blank time mechanism for this socket? easpecially when the start up have finished.

it would be great if you can give the advice on the blank time questions at early convinience.

Hi Fanbin,

TPS2471x will allow to flow the load current more than current limit and less than the fast trip thresholds for the timer duration specified by the timer capacitor (C_T). Please refer to the Section 8.4.4 Circuit Breaker and Fast Trip in the datasheet for more details and let me know if there is any more query.
