TLC5971: Driving TFT display via SPI

Hi,

Good Day. I have a customer who is working with TLC5971. Please see below his query for your reference. Thank you very much.

I have a tft display that needs the master serial pin of my Arduino due. i am also using this led driver of yours. TLC5971. can i use the same serial pin.

I have a TFT display  connect via spi. I know this works. I have your drivers that connect vbia spi. that i know work. i need to know if they will work together on the same spi line.

    Hi Ray,

    I think they can work on the same SPI. TLC5971 interface based on shifter register. If put TLC5971 before TFT display driver, the data for TFT display driver can be sent firstly and shift through TLC5971. Then sending the data for TLC5971, which can be latched in the LED driver. I am not sure what a TFT display interface is, so cannot comment if TFT display driver can be in front of TLC5971.
