Hi,

Customer have issue with the spice model found in the website, please see details below.

"

This model (snvmbv9f) is downloaded from TI official website , and trying to simulate in pspice for ti , but output is not getting as per schematic. Here we have tried , Input is going to 12V but, output is not getting, it is near to zero only & It take so much time to run this only.

Thank you in advance.

Regards,
Maynard

  • Hello,

Thanks for reaching out. How long has the simulation been running? Was the simulation run until the end or was it stopped before being completed?  Can you probe the FB pin too to see if it is coming up to 1V? I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

    Kind regards,

    EM

  • Hi Em,

Just received response from customer, please see details below.

I tried Placing voltage markers on the FB pin. It shows an error. The error code is 15089 & the error message is as follows Markers cannot be placed on a page that is not within the current hierarchy.

    Regards,
    Maynard

  • Hello,

Thank you for your message. Did you by chance get an answer to the other questions above too? From the image quality I also cannot see the value of the soft start cap, to see the Vout reaching the target value you need to run a simulation long enough to allow the Vout to ramp up. Let me know if you have further updates.

    Kind regards,
    EM
