BQ25306: How does BQ25306 work when total current of PMID and ICHG is greater than 3A(INDPM)?

Hi Team

Customer used BQ25306 with external power path management shown as below.

I wanna know how dose it works when total current of PMID and ICHG is greater than 3A(INDPM)? 

For example, ICHG=1.5A, I_sys increases gradually from 0-3A at same time. if ICHG will decrease when Isys=1.5A to keep I_in=3A, and ICHG will decrease to 0A when Isys=3A?

       total input current is sensed across the input reverse blocking FET, and if current exceeds IINDPM setting, then converter will regulate charge current to maintain input current at IINDPM level. In this situation, charge current will get reduced, and PMID load would be prioritized
