LM5050-1: Leakage current if VS is connected to Vin

Hi TI experts,

From the below post on E2E forum, it seems that if we connect the VS to IN then there would be no leakage current anymore, is that correct?

I would like to confirm this part with you that whether the LM5050 has no leakage current if we connect the VS to IN even if we applied maybe 13V on Vo.

If there is still some leakage current, what would that be?

Hi Chia Cheng Wang,

Yes, there would be no leakage current from OUT to IN if VS pin is connected to IN when 'OUT is powered and input voltage is disconnected/removed/not available'

So I can assume that there is no power loss from LM5050 at this moment since there is no leakage current at all?

Yes, you are correct. There would be no power loss in LM5050 in this condition.
