Hi, 

my customer is looking for an p2p alternative to MAX17048. There is a two year old blog suggesting bq27621-G1 (system side) or bq27z561-R1 (for pack-side).

1. Is it still the best recommendation? 

2. If yes, is it p2p? Alternatively: is it possible to adjust the layout that both devices can be used?

    Hello Josef,

    I believe these are still the two best recommendations. I think the BQ27Z561-R2 would be the best, but it is up to the customer's system and desires so I can't say for certain. Unfortunately, it appears neither are P2P; they have different footprints so its not something easily adjusted. Let me know if you have any more questions.
