bq20z90 is compliant to the SBS specification. The SBS (battery) drivers are part of the linux kernel.

Those files have the SBS commands and function calls to communicate with the bq20z90.

also the sbs.c is an acpi driver whereas my device works on i2c. Can you please tell me how sbs.c kernel driver will help me

Hello Chirag,

For example: sbs_write_word_data() calls I2C functions. You will need to trace the function call stack and understand how to make changes as per your requirements.
