Hey Mark,
The TPS2378 is a stand alone PD rated for 25W of power.
The closest replacement is the TPS2379, but it has one additional pin that must be configured. This is the easiest / most direct swap.
In the 25W space, we have parts that have the PD and PWM controller: TPS23731, TPS23734, TPS23751, TPS23754, TPS23754-1, TPS23756.
Other standalone PD's that are higher power are the TPS2372 and TPS2373.

Hi Michael,
for TPS2379, only different on Pin 8 with TPS2378, But customer design need support 48V adapter and POE.
Is there any risk when both powers (POE+adapter)supply to UUT at no ADP detection of PD?
Regards,
Mark

Hello Mark,
Please use the circuit in Figure 10 of this paper to achieve adapter priority https://www.ti.com/lit/an/slva306a/slva306a.pdf?ts=1650299666176&ref_url=https%253A%252F%252Fwww.google.com%252F
