i was wondering if anyone might have an orcad pcb editor footprint for a SON-6 for a TPS780300250DRV

I'm not aware of an existing cad footprint for this IC. To summarize the existing forum posts, the back of the datasheet contains the IC's recommended footprint. If a footprint for a specific cad package exists, it will be located in the IC's tool folder on www.ti.com under "footprints and symbols" or "tools and software"

If you don't find what you need there, you can request IC symbols and footprints (schematics, layout, land pattern) that are not yet provided in the IC's tool folder by entering a symbol request in the Development Tools forum. http://e2e.ti.com/support/development_tools/default.aspx

thanks you for your response. i did look at ti.com but couldn't find anything. i was just hoping to find someone who had already built one and was willing to share.
