LM5060: any suggested part for 12V output?

Part Number: LM5060

Customer would like to check the similar part as LM5060 for 12V output. The key requirements:

1) Configurable output rise time

2) short circuit protection

3) enable feature

Could you please help check for it? Thank you.

Hi Aki Li,

LM5060 can operate for input voltage as low as 5.5V. So, you can use this device for 12V input voltage as well.

Understood. May I know what is the max load current ? Based on the load current, I will propose eFuse (integrated Controller + FET) or Hotswap Controller.

The power level will be up to 1000W.

Hi Aki Li,

LM5060 is the cheapest which can provide the following functionalities,

Configurable output rise time
Short circuit protection
Enable feature

The other options you can look at are TPS249x and TPS2470x Hotswap Controllers. These device are costlier than LM5060 but provide over current limiting apart from short circuit protection.
